Navius FLEX
Product Overview
Navius® Flex herbicide delivers dependable, broad-spectrum weed and brush control in a single, flexible formulation. With weeds and brush on one label and multiple use rates, Navius Flex simplifies vegetation management programs while preserving the grassy understory that supports long-term site stability.
Key Features
- Superior brush and weed control for over 43 weed species, as well as undesirable brush/woody plants in non-crop areas
- Warm moist conditions following treatment promotes activity of Navius FLEX
- Length of control is dependent on rate, condition, growth stage of target weeds, and environmental conditions during and after application
- Long-term weed and brush control occurs when grasses and other desired vegetation are allowed to recover from adverse environmental conditions and compete with undesirable brush or weeds
- Controls noxious and invasive weeds as part of a land management plan
- No grazing or haying restrictions
- Convenient and easy to use packaging
- Low-odour, dry formulation mixes easily and remains in suspension
- Rain-fast at 4 hours after application
Key Benefits
- Weed & Brush Control on One Label: Effectively controls over 45 broadleaf weed species and 30 brush and tree species, including kochia, Canada thistle, and buckbrush — reducing the need for multiple products and repeat applications.
- Flexible Rates to Match the Challenge: Three clearly defined rates allow applicators to tailor control — from weeds, to weeds plus low-growing brush, to hard-to-control woody species — delivering precision and efficiency across sites.
- Long-Lasting Residual Control: Season-long residual control reduces retreatment frequency — helping lower maintenance costs and freeing up crews for other priorities.
- Preserves the Grassy Understory: Controls unwanted vegetation while maintaining desirable grasses, supporting long-term competition against weeds and brush and promoting more stable vegetation management outcomes.
- Cost-Efficient Program Simplification: Fewer products, fewer passes, and fewer applications help optimize vegetation management budgets without sacrificing performance.
- Designed for Sensitive Areas: Formulated to minimize non-target impact, making it well suited for rail, roadside, utility, oil and gas, and other sensitive use areas.
- No Grazing or Haying Restrictions: No restrictions on grazing or haying — ideal for agricultural and mixed-use environments.
- Convenient, Easy-to-Use Formulation: Low-odour, dry formulation that mixes easily, stays in suspension, and is rainfast four hours after application.
Application Rates
- Ideal For: Designed for flexible use across a wide range of vegetation management programs, including utility corridors, rights-of-way, oil and gas sites, pipelines, railways, electrical corridors, roadside maintenance, and other industrial and infrastructure applications.
- Target Vegetation: Provides effective control of broadleaf weeds and woody species, including kochia, Canada thistle, buckbrush, and other problem vegetation — allowing applicators to address multiple vegetation challenges with a single product.
- Rate-Driven Flexibility: Multiple labeled use rates allow applicators to match the rate to the vegetation pressure — from weeds, to weeds plus low-growing brush, to hard-to-control woody species — delivering precise control without over-application.
- Application Timing: For optimal performance, apply Navius® Flex when target weeds and brush are actively growing. Applications should be made after brush species have fully leafed out and before fall colouration begins. Ensure thorough coverage of foliage and stems for effective brush control. Do not apply to brush species exceeding 2.5 m in height (unless otherwise specified on the label), as control may be reduced.
- Approved Tank Mixes: Compatible with approved tank-mix partners to enhance control of specific or resistant species, allowing programs to be customized to unique site requirements.
-
Application Rate: Navius Flex offers three convenient application rates to match vegetation management needs:
- 167 g/ha for broadleaf weed control
- 334 g/ha for control of weeds and low-growing brush
- 499 g/ha for hard-to-control woody species
Always refer to the product label for specific use directions, site restrictions, and application requirements.
